Susan, a New Jersey native, earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Marketing and graduated with honors.  She earned her degree by attending night classes while holding a full time position in the sales department of a manufacturing company.   With continual education in courses related to her field Susan advanced her career and became a Senior Vice President for the manufacturing company.

Her awareness of long term care came after she experienced firsthand the financial devastation and the emotional burden that many families live through when her own Great Aunt suffered a series of strokes. In need for continual care her Aunt was placed in a nursing home exhausting her life savings.  Shortly after Susan left the manufacturing company and started her own insurance agency specializing in long term care insurance.  She is the owner of Specialized Insurance Solutions LLC since November 1999.

Susan helps individuals with solutions to protect their independence and preserve their assets.  Her goal is to help her clients understand the options so they are able to make an educated decision about how they want to handle their future when they need care. 

Susan is a member of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance and is an active member in the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce and the Hunterdon Chapter of NJ Women Business Owners.  She participates in various fund raising events for organizations.  She resides in Flemington with her husband, Eric, and their dogs.  When not working, Susan is usually participating in a competitive dog sport activity.
